eWOCE Surface Drifter Data

Description: In subdirectories 1979 to 2000 you find data collections, each containing one year of trajectory and velocity data from the WOCE surface drifter program (period 1990 to 2000). In addition, data collected from 1979 to 1989 have also been included. These have all undergone the same processing as the data from the WOCE period. They have been included to help place the data collected during WOCE in a larger time context.
Usage: Open file <DVD>/ewoce/data/svp/<yyyy>/WoceSVP.var with Ocean Data View. Load one of the provided configuration files or browse the data interactively. <DVD> above represents the drive or mount-point of your DVD and <yyyy> is a year between 1979 and 2000.
